Jun 13, 2012 1. Use a jack on the bumper to lift the truck a little to relieve pressure on the springs 2. Remove old shackles 3. Use an angle grinder with a cut off wheel to remove some of the bed support for cleareance of the longer shackle. Use the jack to lift/lower the truck into place and install new shackles. I think it would require it to be about 4' lower in the rear and maybe 2' in the front.
