I’VE BEEN TRYING TO HOOK UP A GIFT HP 5745E ALL IN ONE FOR OVER A WEEK NOW THIS IS SO CRAZY LIKE HP PROMPTS FOR AN IP ADDRESS WHICH ONE? STATIC OR DYNAMIC? NEITHER WORK!!! I FIND I HAVE MORE THAN 3 IP ADDRESSES WITHIN MY DESKTOP, MODEM, AND PRINTER I’VE WORKED AT INTEL (10 YRS), SUN MICRO-SYSTEMS (11 YRS) AND HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED SUCH CRAZINESS WHEN I’D WRITE SHELL SCRIPTS IN LINUX OR UNIX, I’D PUT ERROR TRAPPING AND INTERNAL FIXES SO EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH AS ICE-CREAM FOR HEAVENS SAKE HP FIX YOUR INSTALLATION SOFTWARE (WIZARD) SO THE PROGRAM CAN FETCH ALL THE REQUIRED INFO THE FIRST TIME AND LET THE $USER GET ON WITH THEIR TASKS AT HAND!
I’m trying to download the HP scan doctor. It says it’s downloaded, but I can’t find it in my download or desktop files, where does it go?
I tried to download it again & it says that it has downloaded & running, but I’m not seeing where this is happening. I’m getting extremely frustrated. Having difficulty printing anything. My printer seems to print only when it wants to. Didn’t have these problems until the upgrade.
Have registered for Hp eprint as that seems to be the only way things will print when it feels like it. Have enough ink to print what I want.
I have a HP Office Jet 4630. Please help!!!!
I’m about ready to throw it out the window!!! HP Print and Scan Doctor V4.9I download it just fine, it gets about half way through the green bar (showing Progress) but it never finishes. I am still using Windows XP Service Pack three. I get an error report let me quote: “Http://192.168.1.1” this parameter incorrect? My IP address is 192.168.1.100 there are two extra digits past the 1 at the end. There are several other places where the address is called out as being 192.168.1.1 without the two extra 00 at the end. I do not know where HP is collecting the wrong information parameter from?
I have no problem connecting to the internet and searching youtube. I can access my internet e mail account just fine? So where is the problem???Where is HP print and scan doctor 4.9 going to collect this incorrect variable from? When I tried to use the tip-sheet to update version 4.9 my response from HP was there is no updates??I would very much like to use this program.
I run a HP F2110 All in One Printer-scanner-copier.I have a problem using this printer with my Win. When I first installed the printer using the installation CD, I was able to query the printer about the ink-level status, and I would get the page with the graphic showing how much ink was remaining (estimated ink levels). I was able to get this information from the page showing printer options. Now this option has gone away, so is my ability to generate a test page and clean the printer cartridge, level I, Level two, the Intermediate clean, and the third the do it all over, try cleaning again. I cannot find any way to resurrect these options, I want them back! Why does the printing software look like it’s a Microsoft product? Why doesn’t/isn’t there a way to open the HP printer application? The icon does not have a place to click on “HP printer information” or contact HP, or How to diagnose a printer problem?
It’s like all that information is hidden behind someplace I can’t seem to find? Please contact me about the scanner printer doctor version 4.9 not working. And where is the HP printer software hiding?
