Sim City 4 Spaceport
Have you played a SimCity game before? Do you prefer 3D graphics or more old school graphics?. My all time favourite is SimCity 4; it does have a learning curve but feels like a deeper game and there is a huge back catalogue of mod content available out there. I also really like the look of the game but that's a personal thing.SimCity (the newest one) is limited by the city size for sure but it has a lovely visual aesthetic and feels easier to jump into than 4. If you grab the complete edition when it's on sale you'll have some fun for at least 100 hours or so even if it's not a long term keeper like SC4.Cities Skylines is a lot of fun, the various LUTs can add a lovely feel to your screenshots if you enjoy taking them and the game has good mod support but it is a resource hog so you need to have a good system to really be able to play well at higher populations.
- Jan 19, 2009 I didnt look at hte FAQs yet, but i have a city size of 800,000. My population for high tech industry is enormous. I have four hydrogen plants and plenty of high wealth population. I fill the criteria for a space port, but its not coming to me.

I love the game but had to stop playing because my PC just couldn't handle the higher pop and the simulation slowed to a crawl. Cities Skylines is what you want if you don't have anything. It's beautiful, good simulation, good community, and fun.SimCity 4 Deluxe, however is what you want if you just want a game strictly from the SimCity series, as SC2013 is (mostly) terrible.
What is the ideal “block” size in SimCity 5? Ask Question 34. In SimCity 5, what is the best 'block' size to use (meaning, how much space should there be between roads)? The amount of space buildings will occupy is based on the kind of road, high density roads can support larger buildings than medium and low density roads.

The problem with SC4 Deluxe is that it's old, so graphics are getting dated, and the game is becoming a chore to run on modern PC's. The problems with SC2013 are well documented in numerous other posts and websites.SC4 Deluxe is the 'purist' answer and C:Skylines is the modern answer.
October 4th, 2006Since it's been over three years since this site has stopped updating, andpeople are starting to make offers to buy it, I'm just putting up a publicnote in response.Thank you to those who have expressed interest. However, I am not currentlyconsidering selling this web site. It is partly due to my tendency to hang onto things I am no longer using, but also because I continue to cling to theidea that someday, when I have the free time again, I will decide I'm ready tobring the site back from the dead. The prospect of relinquishing control ofthe domain to a third party would eliminate this possibility, and I am notprepared to let it go just yet.If you are prepared to offer enough for this domain to make me extremelywealthy, that might be another story, but I can't honestly see how this domaincould be worth that much to anyone.
September 14th, 2003It saddens me to do this, but I must. This is the end of the line for me. It's been an awesome six year run, but SimPage.net must close its doors.The reason I am making this decision now is simple. I can't keep lying to myself. There has not been a single update to this site in over four months. There's no chance that I will turn around in a few months and decide to pick this up again. I can't pretend that SimPage.net is still alive.
