Last month, I saw the Domoto Kyoudai episode with SCANDAL as the guest, and I found it really funny so I tried subbing it! ^^ I found myself kind of regretting starting the whole thing, since translating the comments on the food was rather challenging. Do you know if there is a english subbed version of Shin Domoto Kyoudai- Gackt Januray 25, 2008? And also the 2012 subbed version of Gackt isn't working for me. But if you know of the 2008 episode of Gackt please let me know. Thank You!!!!!

I've been playing around with re-encoding a lot of my JE downloads because they're too huge for me and I've finally managed to get a good balance between size and quality.So.since I'll probably be re-encoding this once I download it (I can get it down to half the size if it's a 45min clip) and probably any of your future subs (btw I love your subs, they're of really good quality) I thought I might as well offer so other people can have smaller downloads too. The file is about 25 minutes. Yeah, I realize that the file size is quite big for the short length, and I appologize for that, but I don't like to risk /any/ quality to make the file size smaller.what settings/codecs do you use?? We can easily try encoding with the same settings =)other than encoding to a smaller file size, are you able to typeset the subs at the same time as encode?

Can you join two files together that have different audio streams? What about different video streams? Can you edit the audio if it's skewed?sorry for the questions, but those are other tasks the encoder must be able to do as well =)i happen to be really picky about quality =D. Haha, I don't think I'll be all that good an encoder, I just meant to help out with the sizing part of the encoding. I just started mucking around with Virtualdub 3 days ago after getting tired of 2gigs worth of video I couldn't burn to a vcd because it was too big.Typeset means to put the subtitles + font + etc into the raw, yeah? I thought that was the typesetter's job actually, and the encoder just uploads the subtitle file.

And I have no idea about the dif vid/audio streams thing, but in what case would you have to usually? What does skewed audio mean?Sorry for throwing questions back at you, haha, I'd like to find out too because I'm thinking of fansubbing something.

^^ How big is the subtitle file/portion of the vid btw? Well in the worst case scenario, the encoder can only encode and doesn't know about anything else but I prefer encoders who can do a little bit of everything else. That way, if something goes wrong he/she can fix the problem themselves. What if the typesetter finishes it and the colors don't show up so well? Formacao economica do brasil.

The encoder would have to try to describe the changes over the internet (a difficult job). What if the typesetter has moving text but the position is a little off? An encoder who also typesets (which is what we have right now) can make things run much more smoothly.if the streams or bitrates on two files are different, then you can't join them together but 'append avi segment'. You have to decompress, recompress, perhaps join audio separately and add on at the end. Not everything encodes smoothly and more often then not, we run into all sorts of difficulties that the encoder must know how to fix. Skewed audio means that the sound and the video don't match. The encoder has to know how to fix this too.i may be expecting too much out of an encoder, but the end result is much better.

Ah, I realised I forgot to mention the settings I used for the re-encode. Well normally I do a first pass and second pass with average bitrate of 900 and audio compression 128kbps - I think those are the common settings for a lot of dorama etc.I just finished downloading the fansub (yay!) and I checked the file info. Personally I think you should be able to halve the video bitrate or at least bring it to 1200 without a substantial drop in quality and I think you can probably compress the audio to 128 or slightly higher because most people can't really tell the subtle differences in audio quality.Mm, my two cents anyway. ^^ Hope it can be of some use.

This episode is pretty funny. Haha i didnt noe that Kudo Shizuka is Kimura Takuya’s wife wahhhh lucky lady. HahaAnyway this video is soooo funny. They play a festival game where u use a “gun” to shoot down ur prize. Koichi is like a little boy when he went “YEA YEA YEA” at Tsuyoshi.

Listen for Koichi’s “gun” shot. Damn adorable. Den after that he made a 2nd empty shot haha. Which Tsuyoshi claims it sounded like a fart. HahaDen this second is juz cute. Haha Tsuyoshi pickin on Koichi’s little mistake. Koichi was suppose to say “Maria-san” BUT he said “Mario-san” instead.

For those who don’t noe wat Domoto Kyoudai is, its a variety show hosted by Kinki Kids. Guests come on the show and get interviewed “Domoto One Question, One Answer”.

Sometimes it gets so silly. Haha love it i tink Koichi is getting funnier and funnier each time. Takamizawa san too. HahaAnyway this episode was a new girl Techno grp that went on the show Koichi had lots of funny moments. Being called dumb, playing with “Love Chopsticks” and realising how much Tsuyoshi does love him.
