Installation is simple, if you downloaded the.zip file, all you have to do is extract the contents into your Fallout: New Vegas directory (Steam steamapps common Fallout New Vegas), or run the installer that can also be found in the Silverlock site. Mod Organiser should recognise the extender right away. The Hand Loader perk increases this chance, and unlocks new recipes. Powder and Primers can be bought from various merchants, including the Gun Runners. If a recipe name has a number in parentheses next to it, it produces (or requires, for Breakdown recipes) the listed amount of the item. Yeah the weapon schematics in F:nv was dissapointing to say the least.

Unless you have something like CRAFT/CASE or Reload installed, in which case it's much more complex. Can't speak for Reload (yet) but I know that Case ups the Lead requirement. What you'll need are Primers, Powder, (both of these two are available from the Gun Runners) Lead, (made from Scrap Metal) and the ammo cases. Go to a Reloading Bench and you'll be able to combine them into the basic ammo variety. If you take Hand Loader, you'll get better recipes that cost a bit more, but come with effects like -DT or higher damage.

Originally posted. Yeah i have case and caliber X. Thanks for the info ill go to the gun runners and buy all the relevant powders/cases i can get. Works out cheaper and you get more ammo right?I'd get as much cheap ammo as you can and turn it into JSP, since of all the types that Case adds, that's the best for pretty much every caliber. The powder jars are what you want to aim for, since you'll need a lot of powder per bullet but you only need one primer.Stay away from making shotgun and.50MG ammo, though. It's really lead-heavy.
