Pokemon The Semi Final Frontier
Click to expand.Orange League wasn't a tournament though so I get why some don't consider it a 'proper' one but the only difference between Alola League and all the other regional league tournaments prior is that instead of collecting 8 gym badges, you have to go through preelimination Battle Royal round.Sure, it's not the same level of competence as some previous leagues but I'd have hard time believing Unova League was on pair with Sinnoh or Kalos one when it comes to the skill of participants. I really don't know what the outcome of this League will be. The fact that Kukui/Masked Royal will be the prize for winning the League makes it seem like Ash could actually win this thing. Also, the fact that one of his rivals, assuming Guzma is the 'championship' match is an outright villain and an actual bad guy makes it unlikely that Ash would lose to him, though if Illima is the final opponent, that could throw a wrench in things. However, there is also the Kalos League to think about, where Ash looked poised to win, only to lose. Though the backlash against the Kalos League result could also allow Ash to actually win the Alola League, even if he loses to Masked Royal in the prize exhibition match. I hope that Ash wins, but I just don't know whether or not he'll pull it off at the moment.
I really want to see some of the future titles. I think that will give us a good idea as to Ash's chances of winning the Alola League. I really don't know what the outcome of this League will be. Click to expand.to be fair, when Charizard hit dusclops he plowed it into a wall at one point, so it wasn't completely one sided, but it was pretty obvious from the way the fight was handled that it was done that way to allow Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Pikachu to take the win since Charizard had already beaten a legendary earlier on in the first frontier facility.I agree with Regice though, being struck by multiple thunderbolts and iron tails, rests off the damage and goes down to one Volt Tackle? Another problem is that Brandon won both of his first two matches through the usage of Lock-on with a powerful follow up, guess what was absent from this fight? Heck Regice had just been caught as well.Back on topic, I don't trust them to let Ash win this even if it seems 'Set up' that way, and to be perfectly honest i'm kind of hoping he doesn't win, because imo if he was to win a main regional league with a set up like this, it would feel like an affront to all the past leagues he's been in, especially the sinnoh and kalos leagues.
