Path Of Sorcery Skyrim Special Edition
Im currently choosing between 'Path of sorcery', 'balanced magic SE' and 'Empowered magic', i think it is the best to get one, since they all override perks and probably won't work well together. Did anyone have expirience with any of those and have an insight on something that might be good? My goal is rebalance of magic, to make it scale with levels/perks, i had expirience with 'Balanced magic' in original game, think it was good but dont remember really. Anyone who tried all 3 and think something 'better' than the other is welcome to provide a tip.

Strange that you didnt hear about balanced magic, it is the most downloaded mod for magic in old skyrim i just dont really know how good it was ported in SEIf it's a straight port I'm not sure what would change? If it's a 'port' (rewrite) by a different author then maybe there's a problem. I never heard of it because I never used it; I used ♥♥♥♥♥ and Ordinator in LE mostly. Both have scaling magic included.I'd suggest Path of Sorcery, just because I've heard good things about it.

Why not check out the mod pages and read the comments to see if one or the other is garbage? Check Reddit too. Yea i checked path of sorcery, the thing is - it seems completely abandoned, people report alot of stuff but it was last updated in 2016, i mean it probably good but i think ill stick with balanced magic.I don't really like perk mods, not because im a fan of original tree, but because perk mods usually a vision of author and to completely figure is it fits you or not you need to play for a while with it. On a brief look i already saw alot of overpowered perks in Ordinator, i mean the game already isnt of a great difficulty, no reason to gimp it more, even if alot of stuff might be fun ( or might not ).Hm i actually looking to finish light modding and figure what i want to play, i originally thought about trying to play assassin type of character, but strictly with melee weapons, i always skipped it and now i dont really know what such a character could wear in left hand, i dont really like dual-wield skyrim system, is shield stealther even a thing? I could use magic in left hand aswell. Originally posted by:On a side note, if you have Ordinator (Perks of Skyrim) installed already and used some of the various perks then decide it's just too much and want to go back to the vanilla, I guess uninstalling it will screw up your game?I thought I would like the mod, but tbh it gives too many options that I simply won't ever need.I like the options in Ordinator honestly. You're really not supposed to fill out every perk tree, there are so many perks so that you can pick and choose different branches to focus on.

What makes this a notable release is the increased visuals and mod support, a first for the platform. Skyrim: Special Edition receives a good face lift on the Xbox One, as increased lightning effects and texture tweaks make an already pretty game more alluring. It’s the mods, however, that gives the game a new lease on life.
Skyrim Se Path Of Sorcery
That's the beauty of it. I can choose a character that uses Restoration, go down a branch or two, and have a completely different playstyle than someone who goes down the other branches.Regarding uninstalling any mods mid-playthrough, I would strongly suggest no. Ordinator you can, but you need to respec your perks first; check the mod page. Originally posted by:Ok thanks. I might keep it in for now. Some of the perks are worth getting but sometimes you have to get some lesser useful ones just get 'up' the perks tree to get the decent ones. I took a look at the vanilla perks tree on Skyrim wiki and it does look a bit basic in comparison.Yeah Enai did that on purpose, so that people would be forced to pick up some weaker looking perks and actually maybe use them.
There are some that are good in practice but look pretty weak at first glance. If you really go through the lists (again, the mod page helps a lot with the pics and the description) you can really see how going up 1-2 branches in most trees is fine for most builds, or at least builds that use more than 2-4 skills. I usually do a rough plan for 50ish perks (about level 50 in game), as beyond that the game stops scaling for the most part and just gets easier and easier anyways.
At that point, anything extra I put points into is just icing; with Ordinator you don't even need to put more than 4 or 5 perks into some skills that you 'Major' and they'll still be very useful.
