The Trainer this person speaks of works very well.
It contains the cheats. The GSC people will not give any help with using trainers.A Trainer is a program that you run along side of the game and it gives you cheat functionality. Usually you start the trainer just before or after you start the game. The instructions for the trainer will tell you how to use it. A Trainer takes function keys that are not used by the game and converts them into hotkey cheats.

Thus in game for example you hit F8 for god mode or F9 for unlimited ammo.For Stalker you must find a trainer that is made for your Stalker version. These can be found around the net if you do a Google search.
