Code of Conduct Update: Permanent Ban for First Offense Cheaters 10:00 AMToday we are introducing a permanent ban on first offense for cheating or hacking in Rainbow Six Siege. The presence of cheating in the game is something we take very seriously, and is a priority on the development team. This update is one step among many that we are working on to better engage with the community on this issue. Updated Code of Conduct Section:Cheating/Modding/Hacking: Player is running a modified or otherwise unauthorized version of the game client or a third party software which provides any sort of unfair advantage (wallhacks, aimhacks) or causing detriment to other players’ experience: Maximum penalty is permanent ban on first offense. For more information on this update to the, and how Permanent Bans will work, please see this. Community ReportingBeing an online competitive game and considering Rainbow Six Siege's unique features of destructibility and intel gathering, certain challenges come with community reporting. For example, a player getting a head shot through a wall is quite commonplace.
This has potential to create a perception that someone is cheating. While this is sometimes the case, we are working hard to differentiate reports of players who are coordinating with their team for information (how the game is meant to be played), and from someone who is maliciously altering the experience with third party software. If you do encounter a cheater in the game, you can report them via the in-game report button, or submit their information to. Additional Anti-Cheat OptionsWe are currently assessing and testing several client-side anti-cheat options in addition to FairFight and can confirm that we'll be implementing one in the future. We will share additional information as soon as we are ready. We will be continuing to support the community on this issue, and we want to assure you that if a player is using cheating software, they are not welcome in Rainbow Six Siege.
A lot of changes are coming to Rainbow Six Siege with update 3.4, not the least of which are the new rules for team killing. Rainbow Six Siege is about to get its latest patch, version 3.4. Headshots do 120 so you can never survive them. If you shoot an enemy at 40 damage 3 times you'll exceed the limit for dbno so you'll just kill him. If your mate has say 1 health and you want to reset you need to do under 20 dmg to reset without killing. Most weapons do over 20 that's why jumping off the roof is best.
I've been the Guinea pig in trying to test this with my friends. Last week I team killed 2 and got a 30 minute ban. 2 days ago I team killed 2 more and got another 30 minute ban.

Last night, however, I was mildly inebriated, and 2 folk pissed me off. So I team killed them and got a 2 hour ban. My next attempt will be Tuesday after Playstation Plus updates, to see if Tuesday is the reset date. Also, we've noticed that if while on defense you team kill during the prep phase, Ubi marks it as intentional (even if not), so that leads me to believe that within 30-45 seconds after droning they will do the same. We've also tested later in matches, if someone walks in front of you while you are shooting, and it doesn't seem as though those count towards a ban.
